Marcelle Chéry
Executive Producer and Owner of
ELLECRAM PRODUCTIONS CORP.
Marcelle Chéry is a certified Studio and Video Producer at Commonwealth Communications Center, in Fairfax, Virginia. Born in Haiti, the aspiring talk show hostess, producer and registered nurse by profession, started in 1999 her own production company, under which umbrella she has independently produced and hosted the television show “Au Salon de Marcelle” (renamed Tribune Tropicale). Her video production of the Women Ambassadors Conference was awarded the Gold Medal at the 2004 Classic Telly Awards in Ashland, Kentucky.
She relocated to South Florida from Virginia where she had founded, in 1997, a youth Club “Rallye Jeunesse”, to promote cultural awareness, Christian values and to provide a structured environment for the Haitian youths at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Washington, DC. She has also contributed to the establishment of a tutoring program to provide academic assistance to these youths during the school year. She has organized classes on toast master, etiquette, and public speaking. The noticeable behavior changes among the youths were the results of a collaborative bond between Marcelle, and the youth group with the support of the pastoral Director and the church members. |
